In 2023, Getty partnered with organizations across L.A. for free weekend festivals, organized on the occasion of the Getty Center’s 25th anniversary. This event was centered around the Crenshaw District in South LA’s Leimert Park neighborhood.
As a collaboration with LA Commons, I, along with five other photographers, had the opportunity to have my photography work on display in collaboration with The Getty. Below are documentation of the booth which showed our photos, as well as photography of the procession and the live performances. The photography showings were in conjunction with the then featured exhibition “Working Together: The Photographers of the Kamoinge Workshop”
