“Going Deep” is a short film showing community-led climate futures at work. Going Deep is an exploration of the Transformative Climate Community (TCC) Program that empowers the communities most impacted by pollution to choose their own goals, strategies, and projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and local air pollution.
In this film, we follow organizations and community leaders throughout California who are on the front lines making change within their communities.
Going Deep sponsored by Elemental Excellerator and Idea2Form, involved numerous hours in all levels of production. What made this project extremely challenging was the tight timeframe in which we were working in as well as the scheduling with many different groups and organizations. We were able to pull off this film with a production crew of three people, and was able to meet our deadline, which was a screening at the Strategic Growth Council Strategy Conference in Sacramento, Ca.
