About the "Pull Up To The Wall" event

The Crenshaw Wall is a 780-foot-long concrete barrier in South Los Angeles that’s covered in murals about Black history and culture. It’s a symbol of pride and self-determination for the historically Black Crenshaw neighborhood. The “Pull Up To The Wall” event was part of the Destination Crenshaw project. The event celebrated the history and future of the Crenshaw Wall, welcomed the planning of updating the mural and hosted and featured original artists of the Crenshaw Wall as well as members and stakeholders of the community.
