City of Inglewood

Video & Social Media

ABOUT City of Inglewood

For many decades, the unofficial slogan for the City of Inglewood was “Inglewood, up to no good”, but over the last decade, Inglewood has positioned itself as a worldwide entertainment hub. In the last 10 years, we’ve seen a renovated version of the Fabulous Forum, the building of SoFi Stadium and the new Clippers Arena, the refurbishing of parks, streets and buildings, a new Senior Center, and many other benchmarks and landmarks. Inglewood is a unique city to Los Angeles County because of it’s racial demographic make up. As of the 2020 census, Inglewood has an African American population of 42% and a Latino population of 50%.

Role and responsibility

During my five years working with the video and social media team for the City of Inglewood. I worked as a videographer, shooting various events throughout the city, including ribbon cutting ceremonies, street festivals, small business highlights, and other public gatherings. I also worked as a video editor, editing content for social media, digital platforms, and for broadcast television. In addition, I served as a graphic designer, designing flyers, notices, publications, and promotional content for social media and instagram. Below are a few of the events I had the pleasure of being on the shooting team, as well as editing.
