Art+Practice (A+P) is a small community museum in the heart of Leimert Park Plaza, and each year they do a Year in Review catalog for giveaway. For their Year Nine catalog, A+P wanted to feature local businesses located in Leimert Park. My assignment was to visit Ackee Bamboo Jamaican restaurant and Neighbors Skate Shop and take photos of the establishment as well as the owners. Also involved was taking photos of the California African American Museum staff. Select photos from these assignments were used for the print publication that is used year round as a giveaway for museum patrons.
