Running For My Life is a short film about a 71-year old long distance runner preparing for her last competitive race in Monterey Bay, Ca. This is a story about determination, will, and the power and beauty of the human spirit.

About Rachel

Rachel Overby-Fearon is a registered nurse with over 40 years experience, and spent the last 30 years of her life as a long distance runner. Rachel devotes her life to helping others by promoting preventative health through food, fitness, and lifestyle.

About the Director

Halline “Haylow” Overby is an visual artist from Los Angeles, Ca working specifically in the mediums of video and photography. Halline specializing in preserving, presenting, and documenting places, experiences and stories focused around the lives of Black, Indigenous and people of color.
